About
Dr. Williams and team study tumor and cancer processes of the central nervous system (CNS). We focus on clinical outcomes research, particularly on understanding discrepancies in cancer outcomes between rural and urban populations. We also study tumor microenvironment and immuno-oncology in translational models of CNS cancers. My ultimate focus is to improve the health of the people of Kentucky and the world by improving cancer treatment outcomes and developing new options for treatment.
