Geographic and environmental sciences research at UofL looks at the forces that shape Earth’s surface and the communities that live on it, from long-term climate records to the ways people use and change the land. Our faculty and students combine fieldwork, geospatial technologies and environmental analysis to tackle questions in climate, landscape change and sustainability.
